Annette Clark has been teaching dance in Writtle for 20+ years. Starting this Saturday, 4th, she is launching a new class for younger dancers, specialising in European Folk Dance at Writtle Sports & Social Club. This is a dance form which involves interaction with others and is an exciting opportunity for the children.
Folk Dance is fun as it includes everyone and the more involved the better it gets. Those children who are slightly shy are not left on their own but instead made to feel part of a group. What the children don’t realise is they are learning other social skill including team work as well as the obvious – keeping fit and having a good time.
There’s no charge for classes until 2024, so children are very welcome to come and try it.
