For the third consecutive year Chelmsford City Racecourse are excited to bring Autism in Racing back for 2024! Proud to support local children with autism, we are offering complimentary tickets for families to join us for an autism family friendly raceday in a private safe environment.
Children with autism will experience a supervised state of the art sensory room* before enjoying some thrilling racing and autism friendly sensory play activities. Located in a prime position children can watch the horses in the Parade Ring before each race or visit the Queen Charlotte marquee which promises an experience of the horses thundering past on the final bed, that they will never forget!
We are also delighted to have a Shetland pony race prior to the first race, on what is sure to be an exciting day out for the whole family. There will be various other activities taking place during the raceday, with Chelmsford City Football Club coming along offering a kick around with some of their players.

*The immersive interactive sensory room has limited spaces and tickets are allocated on a first- come first-served basis.
