Dear Parents,
Please see below the weekly graphemes/phonemes that the children will be learning each week
this term. It would be great, if with your child, you could practise these sounds, read the words
and encourage them to add the sound buttons. If they feel confident they could be encouraged
to write a few of these words as a say, segment, look, cover, write check.
The tricky words can be read together and again the children can say, segment (identifying the
tricky part), look, cover, write and check.
Please remember that the phonics/spellings for the whole term is on this sheet, but we are only
hoping that you would work weekly in accordance with what we are doing in school.
