Updated March 2021 due to early spring lockdown
Summary information
Total number of pupils: 178
Amount of catch-up premium received per pupil: £80
Total catch-up premium budget: £14,240
Strategy Statement
Catch up funding will be used to address gaps in learning identified across the year groups. In the main this will be by releasing the class teachers to work with identified children either on a one to one basis or in small groups. It will also be used to support social and emotional needs that are identified following return to school in March 2021. The use of catch-up in our school focuses on each individual need of each child and children are not seen as a homogenous group. Some of our goals may not be measured just by data, it is equally important to demonstrate that we have supported children to be successful individuals with the same potential and opportunities open to them as all pupils within this school with social and emotional support.
Individual and group provision will be bespoke based on current identifiable needs and these will be reviewed week to week.
Planned expenditure for current academic year
This will be reviewed at least half termly. Based on supply costing approximately £117 for a half day/£180 full day. LSA cost c.£180 per week.
